In addition to creating art, the Studio plans and conducts training programs and courses for educational institutions, as well as workshops using materials employed in Public Art.

Community-Based Public Art Created with Children and International Students

Under the planning and supervision of an artist, we develop a concept and conduct workshops at elementary and junior high schools, universities, and other educational institutions.
These Public Art projects are created in collaboration with local children and international students.

Art Exchange and Technical Training with Emerging Artists

Emerging artists stay at the Studio to receive training in ceramic and Stained Glass techniques.
Under the guidance of our artisans, participants learn practical production skills and broaden their range of artistic expression through hands-on experience.
We have welcomed international students from countries including France, Ukraine, and Australia, making the Studio a place for international artistic exchange.

Providing Learning Opportunities for Students from Japan and Abroad

We conduct workshops and provide support for the production of artworks for recipients of the International Takifuji Art Award, which supports art university students from Japan and overseas.
These initiatives provide students with opportunities to gain practical production experience and develop their creativity while supporting the growth of emerging artists.

Professional and Semi-Professional Stained Glass Training Course

Training the Next Generation of Stained Glass Artists

The Studio offers specialist courses taught by master artisans for those seeking to acquire professional Stained Glass techniques.
Following the traditions of contemporary German Stained Glass, participants create artworks using antique glass produced by Glashütte Lamberts.
The next course is scheduled for October 2026.

Public Art Courses for Educational Institutions

Courses in Ceramic and Stained Glass Techniques

We provide practical instruction for the Second Mural Painting Laboratory at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Studio artisans serve as technical instructors, conducting hands-on mural production training at the university and the Studio. They teach students how to create artworks using ceramics and Stained Glass.
