Artist, President, Tokyo University of the Arts
Born in Gifu prefecture in 1958. Completed graduate school of Tokyo University of the Arts in 1984. Won Grand Prize at Japan Graphic Art Exhibition in 1982. Received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award at Japan's Art Encouragement Prize in 2015 (Art Promotion Division). Develops art activities that make use of regional characteristics. Has supervised the art program "TURN" to exchange people with different backgrounds from 2014. Director at the Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu, Chairperson at Japan Football Association Social Contribution Committee, Expert Committee at Tokyo Metropolitan Arts and Culture Council and Director at Japan Traffic Culture Association.Location ： Commons1, Hisao & Hiroko TAKI PLAZA 2F, Ochanomizu University

Supervised by contemporary artist Katsuhiko Hibino, Dean and Professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts, this ceramic relief is an interactive public artwork that includes a space where visitors to the International Student Plaza are invited to freely leave their own messages and drawings. The work was inspired by the theme of the workshop-created ceramic relief Three Colors and My Dream.
