Art Production and Restoration & Relocation

What are the approximate budget and schedule?

Because the work involved varies depending on the artwork, quotations and detailed schedules are provided individually. Please feel free to contact us using the form.

Is there a showroom where I can view physical samples?

Yes. You can view them in person at CREARE Atami–Yugawara Studio. Visits are by appointment only, so please write “Request to View Physical Samples” in the inquiry form.

Can I observe the artwork while it is being produced?

Yes. Visits during production can be arranged by appointment. Please contact us at least 10 days in advance.

Can I commission the design as well?

Yes. We begin by discussing your ideas and preferences, after which our artisans carefully develop the design. Please feel free to contact us using the form.

Can you inspect the proposed installation site?

Yes. After discussing your requirements and the conditions of the site, we can conduct an on-site inspection.

Can you deliver and install a large-scale artwork?

Yes. We provide both delivery and installation services.

Can you provide regular maintenance and cleaning?

Artworks produced at the Studio are made from maintenance-free materials that do not fade or deteriorate. If you require periodic inspections or cleaning, these services can be arranged separately.

Stained Glass

Can I provide my own glass?

As a general rule, we do not accept materials supplied by customers in order to maintain quality. However, individual requests may be considered, so please contact us.

Can you create accessories?

Yes. However, certain restrictions apply, such as limitations on producing extremely small items. Please contact us for details.

Will the color of the glass fade or change over time?

No. The glass will not fade or become discolored.

Ceramic Relief

Can you add an inscription if the piece is intended as a commemorative item?

Yes. Please tell us what you would like.

Ceramic Relief has considerable depth. Will it become too heavy?

The back of each piece is hollowed out, making it lighter than its appearance might suggest.

Can you create a specific color?

Yes.

Will the quality deteriorate if the artwork is installed outdoors?

No. The color will not fade, and the artwork will not deteriorate under ordinary conditions. However, it may be affected by frost damage, so please consult us in advance.

Restoration & Relocation

Can you work on an artwork that was not produced by the Studio?

Yes. Wherever possible, we also work on artworks that were not produced at our Studio. We first need to determine whether the work can be accepted, so please describe its current condition using the inquiry form.

Can you work on art made from materials other than Ceramic Relief or Stained Glass?

For artworks made from other materials, our artisans carefully inspect their condition before determining whether restoration or relocation is possible. Please provide the details using the inquiry form.

Can I observe the restoration work?

Yes. This can be arranged.

Can you visit the site to determine whether an artwork can be relocated?

Stained Glass Professional and Semi-Professional Training Program

What are the eligibility requirements?

There are no formal eligibility requirements, but the course is primarily intended for those seeking to become professional or semi-professional Stained Glass artists.

Can people who are not Japanese participate?

Yes. However, the course is conducted primarily in Japanese.

Can I participate without previous experience in Stained Glass craft?

Yes.

I missed the current application period. Can I reserve a place in advance for the next course?

Applications are accepted separately for each course, and the number of participants is limited. Please submit a new application when the next application period opens.

Hosting a Workshop

Can you conduct a visiting workshop at an event venue?

Yes. As preparation is required, please contact us at least three months in advance. Our schedule may already be fully booked, so we recommend contacting us as early as possible.

Can a member of the Studio explain the work to children during a school lesson?

Yes. After discussing the details with the teachers, we will plan the content of the explanation. We always aim to communicate in a way that is easy for children to understand.

May we photograph an event or workshop and post the images on social media?

Yes. Photographs and videos taken by the organizer may be published on the official social media accounts of the relevant company, school, or organization. We will explain the permitted scope of photography in advance. Please refrain from photographing anything outside that scope.

Can the workshop be held as a recurring event?
