Article 1 (Application)
These Studio Visit Guidelines establish the conditions governing studio visits conducted by the Company (the “Visits”).
Article 2 (Applications and Acceptance)
- Visits are generally available by reservation only. The application method, reception hours, duration, number of visitors accepted, and other details shall be as specified on the “Book a Visit” page.
- Depending on conditions at the Studio on the day of the Visit, safety considerations, or other circumstances affecting the Company, the Company may decline to accept visitors arriving without a reservation or may ask them to wait.
- If a fee applies to a Visit, the payment method, including payment at the Studio, shall be as specified on the “Book a Visit” page.
Article 3 (Cancellations and Refunds)
1. If a participant cancels for personal reasons, the following cancellation fees shall apply:
(1) Up to two days before the scheduled Visit: No cancellation fee; a full refund will be issued.
(2) The day before or the day of the scheduled Visit: 100% of the fee
Article 4 (Safety, Prohibited Activities, and Removal from the Studio)
- Visitors shall follow the instructions of the Company’s staff and all notices displayed within the Studio.
- If a visitor enters a restricted area, engages in dangerous or disruptive conduct, takes photographs without permission, or otherwise acts inappropriately, the Company may terminate the Visit or require the visitor to leave the Studio.
Article 5 (Photography and Social Media)
Whether photography is permitted, the areas in which photography is allowed, and whether photographs or other content may be posted on social media or similar platforms shall be governed by the rules established by the Company, including prohibitions on photographing unpublished artworks, posted notices, instructions from staff, and the information provided on the “Book a Visit” page.
If another visitor appears in a photograph or other recording, the visitor must not publish it without that person’s consent.
Article 6 (Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Company)
The Company may cancel or reschedule a Visit due to unavoidable circumstances, including natural disasters, suspension of public transportation, power outages, outbreaks of infectious diseases, or equipment failure.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company, the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by a visitor in connection with a Visit.
Article 8 (Compensation for Damage)
- If a visitor intentionally or negligently damages, defaces, loses, destroys, or otherwise causes harm to any facilities, equipment, artworks, exhibits, or other property belonging to the Company or to a third party and managed by the Company (collectively, the “Facilities and Other Property”), the visitor shall be liable to compensate the Company for the resulting damage. Such damage includes, but is not limited to, repair costs, replacement costs, cleaning costs, restoration costs, and the cost of arranging substitutes.
- Even in the circumstances described in the preceding paragraph, if the occurrence or extent of the damage is attributable in whole or in part to the Company, the visitor’s liability shall be reduced or waived in proportion to the Company’s degree of fault.
- If a dispute arises between a visitor and a third party as a result of the visitor’s actions, the visitor shall resolve the dispute at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any loss or damage to the Company.
